Portents; or,OMG A HAWK!!
I was walking to work this morning and I saw a guy about twenty feet from me on the Oval* whip out his phone to take a picture of something.  I looked down and it was a big damn HAWK just chillin’ on the ground in between us.  It looked straight at me.  I took a picture with my phone, which makes things that are ten feet away look like fifty, and admired it for a bit.  It was standing on...
