Taken from the Honest Girl Scouts campaign. For a campaign trying to get people /not/ to buy cookies and /not/ support the GSUSA, this is doing an awful lot to suddenly make me want /to/ support the GSUSA. (and I’m saying this a a former Girl Scout of about 6 years who hasn’t bought cookies in years because they’re too expensive).
I see so much acceptance here, and especially in a time in children’s lives where acceptance is so important, taking that away from them is just cruel.
I do deserve to know what Girl Scout cookies fund. And they deserve to have my money to support their pinko commie radicalism. Delicious, delicious radicalism.
Also I really enjoy that providing good and information-based sex education is supposed to be a negative point.Oh gds, I love the scare quotes around the sex ed parts. LOVE.
I guess I need to devote a bigger portion of my budget to girl scout cookies, then.
I now feel even better about buying craploads of GS cookies from my niece. Time to up the order!
Everyone go buy GS cookies!!!! Mmmm
I will never feel bad about my Girl Scout cookie buying binges ever again. THIN MINTS AND ABORTIONS FOR ALL!
yeah! fuck “good” and “information-based” sexual education! i want the girl scouts to teach “bad” and “ignorance-based” sex ed instead! i want my daughter to think that her period comes out of her pee hole and that unprotected sex won’t make her pregnant if she prays hard enough.
good lord.
and i will be buying a shit ton of girl scout cookies this year.
This is about as political as I’ll ever get. I want everyone to remember that my politically charged advice to the world was “Hey, go buy some food.”
Because freedom and equality never tasted so goddamn delicious.
I will buy all the pinko thin mints I can. That’s a promise.
